Award for Best Educational Initiative at the European Maritime Days!!

24-25 May 2023: In an exciting development, the RAISE-CS project pilot of the Erasmus Maris initiative has been honored at the European Maritime Days (EMD) awards ceremony in Brest, France. The project's outstanding efforts to foster sustainable seas and oceans through inclusive citizen science in schools earned them the title of "Best Educational Initiative." The prestigious recognition, accompanied by a certificate, a trophy, and a financial award of €1000, highlights the invaluable dedication of both the project team and the pupils of ES-Mol, Sint Ferdinand, Campus Max and the students of Thomas More, who participated in the different activities, promoting ocean literacy and empowering informed decision-making,
