Integrating Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) into Education for Sustainable Development
The objective of the Erasmus Maris days is to establish a platform that bridges science, education, and policy. The ultimate objective is to enable collaborative efforts towards education for sustainable development through innovation and scientific research, ultimately working for the preservation of the marine environment.
Our local organizer, the Generalitat Valenciana, plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of this event and promoting environmental awareness in the beautiful region of Valencia.
We are honored to have the esteemed support of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the University of Ghent as our key partners for Erasmus Maris. Together, we aim to empower secondary school science teachers by offering exclusive training sessions during the second day (October 27th) , equipping them with valuable knowledge and resources to address microplastic pollution.
