After lunch, participants were divided into four groups: POSIDONIA, JELLYFISH, SEA TURTLE, and CETACEANS, each representing different aspects of marine life. The afternoon was dedicated to nautical activities aimed at fostering teamwork and collaboration among the groups.
Group POSIDONIA took part in a hands-on microplastics sampling session using manta nets to collect samples from the seawater. The samples were then prepared for analysis through a digestion process that took place overnight, ensuring they were ready for detailed examination on Day 2. |
